Project to support the Government of Myanmar’s long-term plan to develop domestic satellite communications infrastructure through the development of a national satellite. The Government of Japan emphasizes the importance for the public and private sectors to vitalize the commercial space industry together and wants to promote Japan’s advanced expertise in satellite communications infrastructure building, operation and utilization on an international level. This Feasibility Survey was to promote Japan's satellite communications systems and technologies overseas, to contribute to the smooth introduction of a satellite communications network in Myanmar.
