The Djibouti Corridor, one of the priority economic corridors identified at the Tokyo International Conference on African Development V (TICAD), is vital to addressing the factors inhibiting economic growth and the promotion of job creation in the region, which are limited due to high transport costs. The purpose of this data collection survey was to identify potentials and challenges for regional development along the corridor within the four objective countries: Djibouti, Ethiopia, Sudan and South Sudan.
