School-Based Collaborative Teacher Training

This project aims to strengthen their capacity to implement and manage School-Based INSET (SBI) at O-Level schools in Rwanda. PADECO will perform the following tasks; (i) establish the institutional framework to implement SBI; (ii) assist Rwandan government officials in issuing decrees, instructions, and decisions, and to secure the necessary budget to finance SBI-related activities; (iii) strengthen the implementation mechanism of SBI at the District Education Office, Sector Education Office, and school level; (iv) develop programs and materials for induction courses and implement them; and (v) develop the capacity of the Teacher Development Management department of Rwanda Education Board to maintain SBI practice at the school level.
