The partial inauguration ceremony of Mumbai Metro Line 3 (Aqua line), covering BKC to Worli section, was held on May 9, 2025. PADECO, responsible for construction supervision, participated in the event.
The ceremony was attended by key dignitaries, including Maharashtra State Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, MMRCL Managing Director, and other officials. PADECO was also present as the General Consultant (GC).
With this milestone, approximately two-thirds of the Mumbai Metro Line 3, which spans 33km in total, is now operational. The remaining section, extending from Worli to Cuffe Parade (the terminus), is expected to be completed soon, leading to the full opening of the entire line.
